Volleyball Recap: Glenoak Wins Going Away Against SPIRE Academy

GlenOak barely beat SPIRE Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the SPIRE on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Golden Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-match losing streak.

The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 25-23.

Kaitlyn Wilson paced GlenOak's offense, picking up 13 kills. Wilson got some help from Rylie Calvert and her 19 assists. Calvert was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

GlenOak's win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Looking ahead, GlenOak will be playing at home against McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. SPIRE Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
