Basketball Recap: Mobridge-Pollock Comes Up Short

Mobridge-Pollock entered their game against Groton on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Mobridge-Pollock received a blow as they fell 64-49 to Groton. Mobridge-Pollock lost against Groton in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 78-39 score last time.

Mobridge-Pollock's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Groton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mobridge-Pollock will take on Todd County at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Groton, they will square off against Florence/Henry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Groton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
