Basketball Recap: Linville Hill Takes a Loss

After flying high against Conestoga Christian last Friday, Linville Hill came back down to earth. The Linville Hill Warriors fell to Coventry Christian 50-46. The matchup marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Linville Hill still got an impressive performance from Giovanni Sejuste, who posted ten rebounds. Sejuste has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last five times he's played.

Linville Hill's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 15-2. As for Coventry Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Linville Hill didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 57-28 win against Ephrata Mennonite on the 31st. Coventry Christian has also already played their next matchup (against High Point Baptist Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
