Soccer Recap: New Kent Comes Up Short

If New Kent was feeling good fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Gloucester on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Grafton Clippers by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. New Kent were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Grafton apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

New Kent moved to 8-2-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Grafton, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
