Softball Recap: Camas Takes a Loss

Camas fell victim to Seton Catholic and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-0. The Papermakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camas' loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Seton Catholic, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Camas will host Skyview at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Storm's pitching crew has only allowed 2.3 runs per game this season, so the Papermakers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Seton Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fort Vancouver at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Cougars' favor as the team sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while the Trappers have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
