Baseball Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss

Wayland came into this matchup off a tough eight-run loss on Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Northview by a score of 4-2 on Monday. Wayland just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.

Wayland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hoyt Borgic, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Wayland now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Northview, their win bumped their record up to 7-3.

While Wayland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
