Soccer Recap: Hamilton's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

If Hamilton was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Sherburne-Earlville last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Emerald Knights fell just short of the Frankfort-Schuyler Maroon Knights by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. Hamilton were red-hot offensively heading into the match (they scored no less than four goals in the three contests prior), but Frankfort-Schuyler's defense proved too tough.

Hamilton's goal came courtesy of Levi Neuenschwander, who's now up to four this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hamilton fell to 5-1. As for Frankfort-Schuyler, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamilton will welcome Cooperstown at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Frankfort-Schuyler, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Utica Academy of Science at 6:00 p.m.
