St. Michael the Archangel waltzed into their contest on Monday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came out on top against the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks by a score of 14-10. This was payback for the Guardians, who suffered a 13-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Colston Lyon, who went 2-for-4 with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Maverick Cure was another key player, going 3-for-5 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: St. Michael the Archangel kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive matchups.

St. Michael the Archangel pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
