Basketball Recap: Southwestern Rebels vs. Brownstown Central Braves
It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Southwestern Rebels can now relate to. They took a serious blow against the Braves on Tuesday, falling 63-32. Southwestern's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Several Rebels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ashley Fulton, who scored 14 points.
Southwestern's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Brownstown Central, their victory bumped their record up to 15-9.
Southwestern does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Brownstown Central is on the road again on Friday and plays the Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
