Soccer Game Preview: Riverdale vs. Stephenson

The Riverdale Raiders will challenge the Stephenson Jaguars at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Stephenson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Riverdale, who comes in off a win.

Riverdale took a ten-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Luella, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Raiders skirted past the Lions 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for Riverdale.

Meanwhile, Stephenson lost 4-1 to Stone Mountain on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that Stephenson have lost by exactly three goals.

Riverdale's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Stephenson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.

Riverdale beat Stephenson by a goal in their previous matchup back in March of 2025, winning 4-3. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Jaguars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
