Softball Recap: Justin Garza Falls Short of Woodlake in the Playoffs

Justin Garza and Woodlake squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Justin Garza had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 10-0. The Guardians were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three contests prior), but the Tigers' pitcher proved too tough.

Justin Garza saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aditi Sood, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Justin Garza moved to 20-9 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Woodlake, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 26-1.
