Basketball Game Preview: Wonewoc-Center Wolves vs. Bangor Cardinals

Wonewoc-Center hasn't had much luck against Bangor recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wonewoc-Center Wolves will take on the Bangor Cardinals at 7:00 p.m.

Wonewoc-Center is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Thursday. They were outmatched by Royall and fell 75-22. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 481st, while the Panthers are ranked 45th).

Meanwhile, Bangor can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They managed a 57-53 win over New Lisbon.

Bangor's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-7. As for Wonewoc-Center, their loss dropped their record down to 1-9.

Wonewoc-Center took a serious blow against Bangor when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 84-40. Can Wonewoc-Center avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
