Soccer Game Preview: Skipstone Academy vs. Trinity Christian School of Griffin

The Skipstone Academy Warriors will face off against the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Skipstone Academy's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Skipstone Academy's offense. They came up short against Central Georgia Arts on Thursday, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Skipstone Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 442nd, while Central Georgia Arts are ranked 121st).

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian School of Griffin kept a clean sheet against Lafayette Christian on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Cougars 1-0.

Trinity Christian School of Griffin's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Skipstone Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Skipstone Academy suffered a grim 10-0 defeat to Trinity Christian School of Griffin when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Can Skipstone Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
