Half Moon Bay lost against Carlmont back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Half Moon Bay Cougars wound up on the wrong side of a tough 18-4 walloping at the hands of the Carlmont Scots. Half Moon Bay has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Cody DeBeer made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Half Moon Bay's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Carlmont, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-6.
Half Moon Bay will head out on the road to face off against Los Altos at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Los Altos is coming into the contest with three straight victories at home, so Half Moon Bay will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Carlmont will take on King's Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
