Recap: East Bernard Brahmas vs. Hempstead Bobcats
The East Bernard Brahmas can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. Everything went their way against Hempstead as East Bernard made off with a 59-36 victory. 59 seems to be a good number for East Bernard as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
East Bernard's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Maddox Crist led the charge by scoring 17 points. Another player making a difference was Ty Domel, who scored 15 points.
Hempstead lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being JaMarion Mickles, who scored seven points along with three steals. Mickles hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Dontae Houston was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with eight rebounds.
East Bernard has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. As for Hempstead, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-13.
East Bernard will head out on the road to face off against Hitchcock at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hitchcock is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last eight games. As for Hempstead, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Harmony School of Discovery at 5:00 p.m. Harmony School of Discovery is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
