            Volleyball Recap: Jersey Panthers vs. Civic Memorial Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            Jersey was the  2-1 winner over Civic Memorial when they last played one another  back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Panthers fell  2-0 to the Eagles on Thursday. The Panthers' defeat continues a  trend for the  team, making it four in a row.
 While Jersey had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18,  25-21.
 Kamryn Drainer paced Jersey's offense, picking up seven kills. Drainer got some help from  Adrian Blasa and her 13 assists.
 Leading Civic Memorial to victory were  Allie Kamp and  Emersyn Olmsted.  Kamp  had 11  digs, while  Olmsted  had eight  digs. That's the most  digs  Olmsted has posted  over her last five  matchups.
Jersey's loss dropped their record down to 16-14. As for Civic Memorial,  the  win snapped their losing streak at three matches  and leaves them with a 17-11-2 record.
 Jersey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  contest,  a  2-0  victory against Charleston on the 27th. As for Civic Memorial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-0  defeat against Pinckneyville on the 25th.
