Soccer Recap: Providence Grove Finds Playoff Glory Versus Goldsboro

With a playoff win on the line, Providence Grove rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Goldsboro Cougars a 3-0 shutout. Saul Cortes had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble Providence Grove got from the refs.

Providence Grove hit Goldsboro with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Bryan Carbajal, Kevin Bautista, and Seth Johnson.
