Volleyball Recap: Wachusett Regional Comes Up Short

Wachusett Regional suffered their biggest defeat since October 3rd on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Westborough Rangers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rangers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 two weeks ago.

While Wachusett Regional was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Westborough's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-23.

Wachusett Regional's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Westborough, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-2-1.

Wachusett Regional does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westborough, they will face off against Dartmouth at 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
