Soccer Recap: West Springfield Takes a Loss

West Springfield managed to slip by Alexandria City the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Spartans lost 3-0 to the Titans on Tuesday. West Springfield's defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

West Springfield now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Alexandria City, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 5-4.

Coming up, West Springfield will take on Woodson at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alexandria City, they will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Lake Braddock at 7:15 p.m. Lake Braddock will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Alexandria City surely won't give up without a fight.
