Baseball Recap: Umpqua Valley Christian Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Umpqua Valley Christian waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Lowell Devils by a score of 8-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 back in April.

Umpqua Valley Christian pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Lowell, with the loss, they broke their 12-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-4.

Looking ahead, Umpqua Valley Christian will challenge Cascade Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lowell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
