It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Poly ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the San Fernando Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Parrots have posted since April 26, 2024.

ISABELLA NAVARRO was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed eight innings while giving up seven earned runs off eight hits. NAVARRO was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, TAYLA COLLINS was excellent, going 2-for-5 with two RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. ROCHELLE MORENO was another key player, going 2-for-5 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Poly hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in eight consecutive matchups.
