There's no place like home for Oldenburg Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They really took it to the Southwestern Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up a 49-19 win. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Twisters had established a 24-point advantage.

Despite the loss, Southwestern had strong showings from Bryla Dunbar, who posted six points and seven boards, and Brianna Stevens, who put up no points. Dunbar is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Claire Utley also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assists of the season.

Oldenburg Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Southwestern, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Oldenburg Academy will square off against Northeastern at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwestern, they will head out to square off against Shelbyville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
