Volleyball Recap: Northern Potter Comes Up Short

Northern Potter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Coudersport Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-18.

Coudersport found their leader in sophomore Ella Wahlers, who had six digs and three aces. Wahlers has been hot for a while, having also posted 18 or more assists the last nine times she's played.

Northern Potter's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Coudersport, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Northern Potter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Coudersport, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Otto-Eldred on the 13th.
