Recap: Rudolf Steiner Storm vs. Lutheran Warriors
If the Rudolf Steiner Storm were feeling good off their 46-26 takedown of Wixom Christian back in December of 2023, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Rudolf Steiner was outmatched by Lutheran on the road and fell 67-18. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Rudolf Steiner of the 55-26 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2022.
Lutheran got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayden Means out in front who scored 17 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Fontaine, who scored 13 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Rudolf Steiner's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rudolf Steiner will take on North Adams-Jerome at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Adams-Jerome is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. As for Lutheran, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Hope Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th. Hope Christian Academy is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
