Basketball Recap: Los Alamos Comes Up Short

Los Alamos lost against Capital back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Los Alamos Hilltoppers lost 66-41 to the Capital Jaguars. The Hilltoppers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Los Alamos' loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Capital, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Los Alamos will venture away from home to take on Lovington at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lovington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65.5 points per game this season. As for Capital, they are taking a road trip to square off against Albuquerque Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Albuquerque Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Capital surely won't give up without a fight.
