Basketball Game Preview: Glenn Rockets vs. Pontiac Phoenix

The Glenn Rockets will square off against the Pontiac Phoenix at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glenn has now lost 14 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 17.

Glenn lost 46-25 to Franklin last Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Pontiac came up short against University on Tuesday, falling 53-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Phoenix have suffered against the Eagles since January 4, 2022.

This is the second loss in a row for Pontiac and nudges their season record down to 9-7. As for Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

Glenn didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Pontiac in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 32-27 win. Will Glenn repeat their success, or does Pontiac have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
