League recap: Landwehr dominating on the mound for Prospect

Mid-Suburban - East's top pitcher this week was Prospect's Jack Landwehr. He won one game and struck out 14 batters.

Matt Hendricks was on fire this week, as he led the league with a .500 average with four RBIs. His Rolling Meadows team went 1-2.

Rolling Meadows gave up just nine walks last week, ensuring that they held on to the top spot in the league in that category with only 76 allowed for the season.

Rolling Meadows' Eric Lowe finished his week with six hits, tops in the league. His 28 hits for the year are eigth in the league, and he boasts a .350 batting average.

Brad Gerdes was the player of the game on Monday, with 11 RBIs in Prospect's 5-0 victory over Conant.
