After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Parkway, Benton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They strolled past the Airline Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 61-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Benton's win bumped their record up to 20-12. As for Airline, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 17-7 record this season.

Benton has already played their next contest, a 43-32 loss against West Monroe on the 13th. As for Airline, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-44 defeat against Natchitoches Central on the 14th.
