There's no place like home for Bishop Union, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. Everything went their way against the Immanuel Christian Crusaders on Wednesday as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Broncos, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bishop Union was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-12, 25-17.

MADISON BENNINGER paced Bishop Union's offense, picking up seven kills. BENNINGER got some help from RILEY VAN NEST and her 22 assists. SCARLETT BUCHHOLZ controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The win got Bishop Union back to even at 4-4. As for Immanuel Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, Bishop Union will be playing in front of their home fans against Boron at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immanuel Christian, they will take on Highland in a tournament on Friday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Crusaders surely won't give up without a fight.
