Baseball Recap: Cheltenham Wins Going Away Against William Tennent

Cheltenham won the last time they faced William Tennent and things went their way on Friday too. Cheltenham put the hurt on William Tennent with a sharp 12-3 win.

Nate Leary tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (three).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Emile Chanoine, who went a perfect 5-for-5 with four stolen bases, five runs, and two doubles. He has become a key player for Cheltenham: the team is 4-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-8 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Finn Kopp, who went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

Cheltenham kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
