Volleyball Game Preview: Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers vs. Suburban Christian Crusaders

The Crosspointe Christian Academy Panthers are taking a road trip to challenge the Suburban Christian Crusaders at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Crosspointe Christian Academy has struggled recently with 23 losses in a row, while Suburban Christian will arrive with six straight wins.

It was a proper cat-fight when Crosspointe Christian Academy faced off against North Putnam on Thursday. The Panthers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-14, 18-25, 25-11.

Suburban Christian not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Heritage Christian 3-0.

Suburban Christian never let Heritage Christian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-19, 28-26, 25-20.

Crosspointe Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Suburban Christian, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Crosspointe Christian Academy came up short against Suburban Christian when the teams last played back in April of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
