Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Carroll Comes Up Short

Archbishop Carroll lost against Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs lost 3-0 to the Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) Stallions. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Archbishop Carroll was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-17, 25-19.

Archbishop Carroll's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Archbishop Carroll will square off against Mater Bay Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Somerset Academy (Silver Palms), they will venture away from home to face off against Avant Garde Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
