Softball Recap: Wren Find Success

Wren won the last time they faced Laurens and things went their way on Thursday too. The Hurricanes narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Raiders 6-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hurricanes.

Wren's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Laurens, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

Wren will head out to square off against Palmetto at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Laurens, they will welcome Wade Hampton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Generals have averaged an impressive 6.8 runs per game this season.
