Eastern Hancock won the last time they faced Morristown, and Kayden Ruble did his part to make sure it happened again. The Eastern Hancock Royals blew past the Morristown Yellow Jackets 63-36 on Saturday thanks to Ruble, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 18 boards. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last eight games he's played.

Eli Manship was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five assists and five boards. What's more, he also posted three blocks, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Despite the loss, Morristown had strong showings from Kellen Crim, who scored 13 points, and Brayden Keithley, who went 5-for-12 to rack up 11 points. That was a full 36.1% of Morristown's points, marking the fifth time in a row Crim has put up more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Dalton Mcmichael, who had six points and five rebounds.

Eastern Hancock is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Morristown, they dropped their record down to 8-12 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
