League recap: St. Paul's Hybner delivers best pitching performance from past week

TAPPS 1A/2A District 6's top pitcher this week was St. Paul's Cole Hybner. He picked up two wins and 17 strikeouts.

Hybner was on fire this week, as he led the league with a .875 average, two home runs and six RBIs. Meanwhile, the Cardinals put together a 3-0 week.

St. Paul's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing zero hits and one walk to lead the league in both categories.

The Cardinals, the league's stolen base leader this season with 70, added to their lead in that category with 34 more steals over the past week.

Hybner led the league with two wins and 17 strikeouts this week.



The league boasted four .400 hitters over the past week. They were led by Cole Hybner, who hit .875 this week (7-for-8).
