Softball Game Preview: West Sabine Tigers vs. Corrigan-Camden Bulldogs

West Sabine is 0-3 against Corrigan-Camden since February of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. West Sabine will host Corrigan-Camden at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Corrigan-Camden will be up against a hot West Sabine team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. West Sabine was the clear victor by a 17-3 margin over Colmesneil on Monday.

Katie Lindow was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. That's the fewest earned runs she has allowed since back in February. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gracie Ross, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. What's more, she posted three RBI, the most she's had since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kenzy Bragg, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Friday. Corrigan-Camden was the clear victor by an 11-1 margin over Colmesneil. The win made it back-to-back victories for Corrigan-Camden.

West Sabine's win bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Corrigan-Camden, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2-1.
