Soccer Game Preview: St. Patrick vs. Brandon + Official Tickets

The St. Patrick Fighting Irish will challenge the Brandon Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when St. Patrick and Long Beach meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Fighting Irish fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that St. Patrick have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Brandon kept a clean sheet against Warren Central on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Vikings. The victory continues a trend for Brandon in their matchups with Warren Central: they've now won five in a row.

Brandon's offense was hitting Warren Central from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Carleigh King led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

St. Patrick now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Brandon, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
