Mt. Enterprise had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 11-0 margin over the New Summerfield Hornets. Considering the Wildcats have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Jase Webb made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lucas Burkhardt, who went 1-for-2 with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Aiden Rogers, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Mt. Enterprise's win bumped their record up to 10-5-2. As for New Summerfield, their defeat was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-18.

Mt. Enterprise does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for New Summerfield, they will be playing at home against St. Mary's at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
