League recap: Fairview scores huge upset over Oberlin

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Oberlin, who took down 527th ranked Oberlin, 41-0.

Fairview moved up to 493 from 547 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Patriot - Stripes. The Warriors were able to make the jump by besting the The Phoenix 41-0.

Jay Banyasz put up the best numbers through the air as Columbia beat Brooklyn. He finished with a total of eight completions for 102 yards and two touchdowns. Banyasz's favorite target this week was Tyler Edmiston, who caught three passes for 62 yards.

Chad Anderson was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 217 yards on 36 carries as Clearview bested Lutheran West. Teammate Anthony Alston added to the ground attack by rushing for 72 yards.

Williams was the best wideout in the league this week as the Clippers defeated the Longhorns. Williams tallied two receptions for 63 yards. Clifton Brown helped Clearview's passing attack out by catching three balls for 13 yards.

Clearview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Clippers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Roger Engle has thrown for 1193 yards and 12 touchdowns this season, while Williams has 21 catches for 521 yards. Anderson leads the league in rushing with 1081 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Raiders take on Fairview. At the moment, Columbia is in first, while Tom Narducci's team is in fifth.

Jason Ward's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Hurricanes, 49-27. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
