Soccer Recap: Immokalee Takes a Loss

Immokalee lost against LaBelle back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Immokalee Indians fell just short of the LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Arvizu Mercedes, who's now up to seven this season.

Immokalee has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10-1 record this season. As for LaBelle, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Immokalee will head out to face off against Island Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for LaBelle, they will square off against Cypress Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. LaBelle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.3 goals per game this season.
