Baseball Recap: Homer Comes Up Short

Homer lost against Grass Lake back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trojans came up short against the Warriors, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Homer saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zak Smith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.

Homer now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Grass Lake, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.
