The matchup between Albemarle and Goochland on Friday hardly resembled the 27-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Patriots managed a 34-30 win over the Bulldogs. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won five in a row.

Albemarle's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ladonte Chapman, who picked up 93 receiving yards and two TDs. Amarion Hill was another key player, throwing for 212 yards and three touchdowns.
