Horse Creek Academy hadn't done well against Silver Bluff recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Stallions secured a 77-71 W over the Bulldogs. The Stallions' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Despite the loss, Silver Bluff still got an impressive performance from Zean Dicks, who shot 69% from the field en route to 19 points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Lance Hieke Jr., who posted 17 points.

Horse Creek Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Silver Bluff, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Looking ahead, Horse Creek Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Blackville-Hilda at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Stallions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Silver Bluff, they will head out on the road to square off against South Aiken at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
