Baseball Recap: Wilson Area Triumphs

The third road game was the charm for Wilson Area, as they earned their first away win of the season. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Northern Lehigh Bulldogs on Thursday. The Warriors' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Shaun Danielson and Ryan Bonham made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Danielson struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Meanwhile, Bonham tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. At bat, Danielson went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double, while Bonham scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-4. That's the most hits Danielson has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Liam Coyle, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Nolan Browne, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.
