Recap: Patel Trailblazers vs. Brandon Academy Scorpions
The Patel Trailblazers's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They managed a 40-36 victory over Brandon Academy. The victory was just what Patel needed coming off of a 57-34 loss in their prior matchup.
Patel had a senior duo take command as SIMARKAE MCLEAN scored eight points along with five steals and ARZ SOBOH scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of ELLA KRAPOHL, who scored five points.
The win got Patel back to even at 10-10. As for Brandon Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Patel will take on Tampa Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brandon Academy, Brandon Academy and Foundation Christian Academy will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
