Baseball Recap: Dr. Joaquin Garcia Has No Trouble Against Santaluces

Dr. Joaquin Garcia lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Santaluces, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Dr. Joaquin Garcia Bulldogs blew past the Santaluces Chiefs 11-1 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by ten runs or more this season.

Justin Rich looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Eric Flores, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-5. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Troy Burke, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Dr. Joaquin Garcia hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Santaluces struck out 11 times.
