Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eupora). They strolled past the Vardaman Rams with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 75-56. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory made it two in a row for Eupora and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points over those games. As for Vardaman, their loss was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Eupora will face off against French Camp Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 50.33 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Vardaman, they and Water Valley will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played.
