Warren County won the last time they faced Shelbyville Central and things went their way on Thursday too. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers were the clear victors by a 14-4 margin over the Golden Eagles.

Kyaira Sharpe made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lola Wells, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Alissa Young, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Warren County's victory bumped their record up to 15-12. As for Shelbyville Central, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.
