Basketball Game Preview: Covington Buccs vs. Northridge Polar Bears

Covington hasn't had much luck against Northridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Covington Buccs will venture away from home to challenge the Northridge Polar Bears at 7:30 p.m.

Covington is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bethel.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northridge). They took their contest on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 90-48 win over Riverside. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Polar Bears.

Covington's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Northridge, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Covington might still be hurting after the 73-51 defeat they got from Northridge when the teams last played back in January. Can Covington avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
