Basketball Recap: White County Skates Past Bainbridge with Ease

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but White County had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 74-34 win over the Bainbridge Bearcats. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 24 points or more this season.

Loss or not, Bainbridge got some senior leadership from Ahleah Jones and Ta'Liyah Ausgood. Jones posted nine points and three steals, while Ausgood scored eight points. Jones is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

White County has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. Bainbridge's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14.

White County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 62-47 loss against Baldwin on the 22nd. Bainbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
